The Reception

The reception was so lovely
And went off without a flaw
We danced and danced
Visited and ate-
A lovely day for one and all.
The music was so lovely
With a band that all agree
Was the absolute epitome
Of what a band should be.
The cake was beautiful
Standing proudly on the table
Waiting for the bride and groom to come
And cut it when they were able.
The photographer took great photos
Which we couldn’t wait to see-
And all in all I’d say the party
Went off just perfectly!
