These friends are not the type
You would expect to see
All dressed up in suits and ties
And looking handsome as can be!

You would expect to see them
On basketball courts or skating
Or even on the ski slopes
Or their favorite topics debating!

But today they are here
And though for a while it seemed iffy
I must admit the whole fun crew
Is looking mighty spiffy!

Our Wedding Memories

Look at all the handsome guys
Dressed up in formal attire
Just yesterday they looked so young
But today look how handsome they are!

They had their time of teasing each other
But as soon as we needed them to be
The GQ men that in the photos you see
They did it perfectly and wonderfully!


I look at the photos and see them all
Standing so dignified, straight and tall
And I think to myself how wonderful it was
And just how much we love them all!

It takes a person really wise
To respect the importance of the guys!
They are the ones who stand in formal attire
No matter what regular types they are.

They tease and torment and punch and hit
Until the groom tells them to quit
And act grown up and look sincere
Because what if the bride to be should hear.

But once the camera turns on them
They look as if they could sing a hymn
Standing straight and tall and dignified
Hair nicely groomed and smiles so wide.

God bless those guys who help us wed
And who love each other no matter what's said
Or never would they all agree
To dress in tails for my sweetheart and me!

Best Man Toast

I consider it an honor
To make a toast today
I hope it do it justice
And choose the right things to say!
I'm proud to say
Of this friend of mine
That he is top of the line
And one of kind!
I've known him
Since he was hardly more than a kid
And can tell you
Every naughty teen thing he did.
But considering
That he knows me just as well
I'd better watch my tongue
And choose with caution what I tell.
We have been together
Through good times and sad
And I've been blessed
By this extraordinary friend I've had.
He is funny and intelligent
And an all round great guy
As far as having a great frienship
No one has fared better than I.
I could tell you lots of stories
About silly things he's done
About all the laughs and jokes
And times of just having fun.
But today I'm here to tell you
Just how special this man is to me
And if you've known him very long
I'm sure you will agree.
So raise your glass today
And toast this friend with me
As we wish him love and happiness
For now and for eternity!
