Ready Made Dad
What do you call a man
Who bravely enters into a home
Unlike the one that previously
He had called his own....
What do you call a man
Who gave up the freedom
Of the single life he knew
And suddenly has a child ...or two....
What do you call a man
Who takes to himself a wife
And finds a family ready made
With which to share his life...
Some may call him a stepfather-
Depending on the relationships they've had.
But as for me I happily embrace in love
The man that my kids now call Dad.
