The Wedding Cake

We chose the cake that we desired
And since we love cake
It wasn't very hard
To find one that had a nice taste
Without an ounce to go to waste.
We looked at so many flavors
(Some were difficult to describe)
Checking out both the inner fillings
As well as the stylish outside.
To the eyes it must be a treat
But even more important -
It must be tasty for our guest to eat!

The Perfect Cake

Only a bride can understand
How special this cake must be.
It has to be a most delicious cake
And a lovely sight to see!
We found just the cake
And the guests all said
That it was a work of art
And when we eat a slice
on anniversary one
We will relive sweetest memories
in our hearts.

Cutting the Cake

Symbolically they pose
Hand in hand with knife
And then once the camera clicks
They smile at each other
Knowing they are really husband and wife.

A year from now
They will relive this day
With a tiny layer of cake put away
And the photos in their hearts
They will replay and replay and replay.
